Social networks have always existed, but the advent of the internet has led to a "new" way of
setting up and maintaining relationships.

Social networking services

How many hours a day or a week do you spend on the net when you are not working?

When I'm not at school, I spend about 4-5 hours online every day, and I study or play on social
media.

 Do you use social network services such as Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn?

 Of course, I will use social media, such as WeChat, which can watch videos and talk
to friends.

 If you do,

o How often do you use it/them?

o I use WeChat to communicate with my friends every day.

o Why did you choose that service?

o I like to use WeChat because it is very convenient to communicate with

family and friends.

o When did you join your first social network? Does it still exist?

o I registered WeChat about 7 or 8 years ago, and it still exists, and most
people are using it.

o What percentage of your friends in social networks are real-life friends?

o About 70% of my friends on social networks are real life friends.

o Do you have any real-life friends you met through the internet?
 No. Most of my friends in reality met at school.

o Do you think you will ever join one?

 Do you ever get on the internet using your mobile phone?

 Some people don't use email anymore because they prefer social networks. What
do you think?

 Some people "collect" friends on social networks. Is it possible to have 500 friends in
real life?

 Do you think Internet addiction is a real disease?

 How different would your life be if there were no Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram?
