Russia invades part of Ukraine

Description of the evento

Russian troops crossed the border and quickly overran several regions of eastern
Ukraine. As the Russian troops advanced, a violent battle broke out with the Ukrainian
army and defense forces. As the conflict escalated, diplomatic efforts were made to find a
peaceful solution. Several rounds of negotiations were held and attempts were made to
implement a ceasefire, but unfortunately no lasting solution was reached and the conflict
continued.

The Russian invasion of parts of Ukraine left a deep mark on the region, with major
political, economic and humanitarian consequences. The international community remains
committed to supporting Ukraine and finding a lasting and peaceful solution to this conflict.

What went wrong?

If Vladimir Putin had discussed with Volodimir Zelenski, the invasion wouldn’t have been
occurred. Moreover, many deaths would have been avoided if there were no ambition for
Ukraine's resources.
Ukraine wouldn’t have been invaded if they hadn’t had delayed their entry to NATO
