 INTRODUCTION
If a power outage happens for a long period, electronic devices such as
smartphone, laptop and camera cannot be used because there is no presence of
electricity. In certain situations, where we need to use our smartphones to make an
emergency call, but it cannot be proceeded as the smartphones are out of battery and
need to be charged. By using solar panels could be a good decision but it only produce
power in the daytime. This problem can be solved if we are using a fan because it still
can function even without the presence of electricity as long as there is a presence of
wind. Thus, this situation lead us to create a Wind Charger by modify a regular fan to
become a fan that has similar functions to wind turbine which is converting kinetic
energy to electrical energy. So, we are using wind energy as our source of electrics.
The wind turns the blades of the fan around a rotor which spins a generator and create
electricity. Hence,this is a concept we use to create a fan by using wind energy to
produce electricity using kinetic energy created by air in motion.
