TYCO T2000 Fire System Change Address Procedure

When you replace the device (Such as 811PH detector,CP820M or CP830M),change(input)

new address procedure is required.

1.Unplug the defective point device.

2.Then plug in new device.(new detector power up will be shown)
3.About 1 min later, on front panel, press 'F3' and input ID and Passcode. Enter.
4.Press '7' for select Service.
5.Press '3' for select Diagnostics.
6.Press '7' for select Change Address.
7.Select Loop(A、B、C). Then press 'F2'(>>) for move to point.
8.At 'point' input 255. Enter .(always replace with new detector! 255 is new device's
default address. Never change with other already installed device as it have it's own
address).
9.Then follows will be shown.
Type - Empty - New Address "0"
10.At "0". Input the New point (now replacing point). Then Enter.
11.The Panel will show 'Successful'. Then press 'back' 'back' 'back'. Then please reset.

Warning

1.When you change the devices, always try one by one. Do not unplug 2 devices and try
to input same time. (after complete change one device, then change other).
2.Please do not change/modify other setting. (also do not select "Auto Config" button, it
will cause disorder).
