Teacher !

the pictures correctly! Let’s

We counted the pictures ?
Very good! By counting
from 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on.

Do you know what we call

1, 2, 3, 4 and so on?

Yes! They are numbers

but they are called whole
numbers. Numbers Teacher!

So, today, we are going to

talk about Whole
Numbers.

Whole Numbers are all

the basic counting
numbers BUT including
ZERO.
W = { 0, 1, 2, 3, 4…..}

Always remember that

the numbers that we use
for counting purposes
including zero are
WHOLE NUMBERS.

Examples of whole
numbers are the ones that
we counted earlier.

There are FOUR pencils.

There are EIGHT
sunflowers.

There are TWO donuts.

Very Good! But remember

that not all numbers are
considered as a WHOLE
NUMBER. For example
Decimals, Fractions and
Negative Numbers.

Now, do you have any

questions?

None? Very good. Now

let’s proceed to our next
activity. Are you excited?

Developing Mastery Now, we are going to play

the game “Bring Me.” Are
you familiar with the game

the specific thing will be
the winner. Did you get it?

The instructions is; the

artist of the group should Yes, Teacher!
draw objects depending
on how many they like.
And the assigned identifier
will identify how many of Yes, Teacher!
the objects are present in
the group's drawing.

Yes, Teacher!
Did you get it?

Very good. Now I’m going

to give you 3 minutes only
to draw the objects you
like. All right? Timer starts
now.

Are you done?

Now, let’s call group 1…. Yes, Teacher!

So on.

Wow! You all did a good

job!

This activity shows how

good your teamwork is.
And for that let’s give
ourselves a big round of
applause. Yehey!

Generalization Now students, what have

you learned today?
Whole numbers teacher.

Very good! What are

whole numbers again? There are numbers that we
use for counting purposes
including zero.

Very good. Why do you Because without them, we

think whole numbers are can’t count.
important?
