ACTIVITY OBSERVED
Eye Reflection

NOTES

Lesson

● The activity was great and the students really enjoyed the process of
drawing the eye.
● When starting a new project it is important to start the class with a
lesson that ties in the elements and principles. This will help students
understand what concepts are being demonstrated in the activity.

Procedures

● When possible, giving the instructions all at once rather than to

individual tables will cut down on confusion of steps and will help
students to stay together as they go through the activity.
● When classes arrive to art excited or rowdy it can help to start the
class with a quiet activity such as a sketchbook prompt that is
completed silently. This can help students focus and get ready to start
class calmly.
● Great job handling a student who was refusing to work. I appreciated how
you redirected and gave him options before removing him from the table
to work independently.

SUPPLY NEEDS
● Colored markers
