ABSTRACT
This set of information contains the various risks, hazards, and safety activity within the
Empowered Consumerism Business Office – Balibago Branch. In order to accumulate data and
detailed observation, the group has conducted a face-to-face audit with its facility. Furthermore,
the group facilitated and distinguished possible hazards and risks, as it is an upbringing factor
for accidents. It focuses on the facility’s condition, workers’ and people’s act within the company
premises. With that, a basic safety recommendation for short-and-long-term application is
provided to promote precautions and prior knowledge for safety and health.

COMPANY PROFILE
Empowered Consumerism Platform is the newest, boldest, innovative campaign designed to
cater to the golden age of digital entrepreneurship using different social media platforms in order
to share the health and wellness world-class natural products and its inter-loop hybrid system to
ordinary consumers for them to become millionaires. We empowered ordinary consumers and
make them entrepreneurs once they become part of our campaign
SAFETY POLICY
Empowered Consumerism will ensure reasonable practices that are suitable for the new normal
presented by the pandemic risk posed to the health of employees and guest attendees. All
events and services are planned in mind to determine the risks involved and minimize their
effects.

To open the doors of opportunity and prosperity by empowering our distributors to achieve
financial independence and economic stability by maximizing the wealth of the market thru our

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION
The Empowered Consumerism Business Center Office is located on the 2nd floor of the
CARJAVAL commercial building Balibago national highway, Santa Rosa, Laguna.

OSH OBJECTIVES
1. To ensure that employees and guests are briefed on basic safety and health
management, with the additional ordinance for the new-normal post-pandemic situation.
2. To identify unknown and known hazards within the work area to remove or minimize its
risk.
Responsibilities
- A planned schedule of inspection in the Lobby, meeting room, and storage room
- The company provides a place where people could interact with each other,
therefore the company must have ties with nearby clinics for the guests and
employees.
4. Provide an adequate budget for safety and health programs directed to the new
normal.
Functions
1. Measurement of Policies
- Ensure that Staff and Administrative management follow all such policies
implemented.
2. Manpower
- Must be advised about the assigned employee(s) that are responsible for safety
and health.

- Must be advised about the assigned employee(s) for the quarterly Inspection
system.
- Ensure the qualification of such assigned personnel.
3. Knowledge of Equipment
- They must know all the safety and health equipment they provide.
4. Evaluation
- Must have a quarterly report inspection for their knowledge on the status of the
programs implemented.

ASSIGNMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Middle Management
- Must Receive reports of the health, safety and training programs of their progress
- All Responsibilities and functions of the top management must be multiplied by
the middle management and passed on with the same degree of dedication.
- Must assign employee(s) that are responsible for safety and health.
- Must assign employee(s) for the quarterly Inspection system.
- Liaisons with nearby vicinity must be a priority contacts of such personnel

LIST OF SAFETY TRAINING
● Fire Safety Training- Employees are instructed on identifying fire risks, doing a fire
safety risk evaluation, preventing workplace fires, and responding to fires.

● Ergonomics Training- The training seeks to give more appropriate guidance to all staff
members to ensure safer jobs and a decrease in injuries. Overall the staff are expected
and instructed, to eliminate the activities, circumstances, and situations that cause
discomfort and risk of injury due to work.
● First Aid Training- All trained staff are expected to meet and accomplish the objectives
of first aid training which include safeguarding the unconscious, preserving life, avoiding
damage from getting worse, assisting recovery, and reducing pain suffering.
RECORDS MANAGEMENT:
In this sector, this explains the importance of records with the management and its facility.
Historical injuries that have happened within the premises must be documented and available to
professional workers for inspection and recommendation. Furthermore, in storing data the
company considers to also prioritize its storage supply.
This particular area focuses on the medical and first-aid systems availability in the proposed
company. It also tackles the essentiality of being knowledgeable with basic medical practices.
With that, one can identify and provide aid to an injured person within the establishment.
It is recommended to have at least one first-aider in the property. In order to prevent a domino
effect in casualties. With that being said Empowered Consumerism Business Office -
Balibago Branch has First-Aid Systems that reaches for its room capacity.
The employees are expected to adhere to the specified duties in order to guarantee that
the residents' safety and comfort come first and that the service they receive is of the highest
caliber. These obligations are the absolute minimum acceptable criteria that must be fulfilled.
All personnel and persons in charge have the associated duties and obligations:
1. Priority must always be given to the staff's welfare, security, and convenience.
2. All must participate in the coming training on health and safety practices and
protocols.
3. Breaching unauthorized property, equipment, objects, and all work related
instruments is strictly prohibited.

LIST OF PROMOTIONAL METHODS
1. Safety Orientation - All hired staff are required to attend all orientations and seminars
about maintaining and keeping the overall surrounding of the workplace safe and free
from possible unintentional injuries and accidents.
2. Implementation of Safety Protocols - From the beginning safety protocols are strictly
implemented and followed. In order to benefit the employer and employee in identifying
details in the surroundings.
3. Labels and Signs - Posted protocols, notices, and signs to improve safety within the
facility. It provides details that have prevented the risk of injuries.
● Fire
The following are expected to be done by the employers in the event of fire:
1. Activate and start the fire alarm and call for immediate help (BFP or 911) and
provide information.
2. Help physically disabled people get to a safe place, then alert emergency
personnel. Everyone should also help injured personnel or alert them to a
medical emergency.
3. Follow the emergency exit maps and make sure everyone is outside the building.
4. Only use a fire extinguisher if it's safe to do so and you've received the proper
training.
5. When faced with smoke, keep your distance. Prior to actually opening, inspect for
heat in closed doors.
6. Until it is safe to enter the building again, stay outside.
● Earthquake
The following are expected to be done by the employers in the event of an earthquake:
1. Staff are expected to perform and practice the DROP, COVER, and HOLD
fundamentals. If a sturdy table or desk is not nearby, kneel down next to an
internal wall and cover your head and neck with your arms.
2. Avoid and refrain from going near mirrors, windows, floating objects, high
equipment, big equipment, and cabinets that are stuffed with heavy items.
3. Everyone is expected not to flee the building if it is violently shaking. Avoid using
elevators

4. All personnel should go to the evacuation area (open area) and check for
possible lost colleagues and injuries of fellow employees.
5. Report to officials of possible injuries and damages that might cause another
accident.
● Flood
The following are expected to be done by the employers in the event of a flood:
1. All personnel are advised to check out the news on different traditional platforms
(TV, Radios) and modern platforms to gain different information and details about
the proper details of help and rescue.
2. Unplug all electrical devices near you. If you are damp or standing in water, avoid
touching electrical equipment.
3. Do not attempt to swim or go against a moving flood.
4. All Staff should Recognize the possibility of flash flooding. Move right away to
higher ground if a flash flood is possible. Do not wait for commands before
moving.
5. Wait for rescue and inform different officials for information and details.
● Volcanic Eruption
The following are expected to be done by the employers in the event of volcanic
eruption:
1. Everyone should observe the guidance provided by authorities.
2. Close all doors and windows and stay inside.
3. All personnel are pleased to be aware of lahars or mudflows.
4. Cover all mouth with a towel or use a face mask (if available) to protect one’s self
from the harmful ashfalls and dust
5. Stay inside the closed area conference room and wait for the situation to settle.
● Pandemic
The following are expected to be done by employers in the event of a pandemic:
1. All employees are expected to have masks and/or different protective gear to
avoid the further spreading of disease.
2. Everyone should observe proper distancing within the whole vicinity of the
workplace.
3. Check and look for reliable and legitimate updates from authorities.
4. Call for an immediate medical response once you experience the symptoms and
once other people are experiencing the given symptoms from the guidelines and
protocols.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE ORGANIZATION
● Safety officer refers to any employee or officer of the company trained by DOLE
or DOLE-Accredited Training Organization and tasked by the employer to
implement an OSH program and ensure that it is in accordance with the
provisions of OSH standards.

2. Damage Control
● He/She is assigned to minimize the effects of the accident that happened and
prevent incidents from occurring.
● With their team, they are tasked with the physical and public point of view level.
In accordance to their team leader's orders.
3. Fire Fighting
- Tasked as the first responders with in the company who is trained with fire
extinguishers, hose lines and etc. of equipment and programs that helps in
subjugating fire. Accordance with their team leaders orders.
4. Evacuation
- He/She is tasked with insuring all the companies employees and administrative
staff(s) safety during an emergency.
- He/She Must know and be trained in all aspects of the programs of emergency
placed by the company and follow it based on training and procedures.

5. Information and Communications
- Tasked with coordinating all the aforementioned teams in terms of
communication and relay of orderns between the departments.
- Tasked with communicating and dealing with the aftermath of information that will
be needed during the emergency investigation.
