Kim's performances and interviews have been featured on national and regional public access radio and

television networks, including the Korean Broadcasting System, National Public Radio, KVOD-FM Public
Radio, KUAF, and Rocky Mountain PBS. Her performances have taken her to major international venues, such
as Salle Pleyel, Salle Cortot, IBK Chamber Hall, Seoul Art Center, Kum-Ho Art Hall, Harris Concert Hall,
Wheeler Opera House, Auditorium Ancol, L'Heure Musicale, Auditorium Marcel Landowski, Hall Auditorium,
Hamilton Recital Hall, Souers Recital Hall, Elli Caulkin Opera House, Boettcher Concert Hall, Florianópolis
Municipal Theatre of Santa Catarina, Porto Seguro Theater, Praça das Artes of São Paulo, Teatro SESI
Campinas Amoreiras, and Belvidere Theatre.

As an active orchestral pianist and harpsichordist, Kim has performed with the Aspen Festival Orchestra,
Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra, Grandin Music Festival, Agassiz Chamber
Music Festival in Canada, the Festival de Musique de Sully et de Loiret in France, Symphony Orchestra of
Northwest Arkansas, and the Boulder Chamber Orchestra. She has also served as a pianist for several
competitions, including the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Denver Lyric Opera Competition,
Ekstrand Competition, Corbett Opera Competition, Sterling String Competition, and various young artist
competitions.

Kim is a Beckie Reeder Arnold and Nancy Ted Anderson award reception. and active with several scholarly
organizations, internationally her most recent projects have been with SONG (Song of the New Generation) in
South Korea, an organization that she founded to promote the research and performance of the contemporary art
song medium, and Kim has served as a board member with Sintonize Produtora Cultural, an international new-
music festival in Brazil.  Before joining the faculty at the University of Arkansas, Kim taught piano and
chamber music, classes in vocal literature and lyric diction, and coached opera productions at several music
institutions, such as Metropolitan State University, the University of Colorado Boulder, and Miami
University.  She has also been appointed internationally as an artist and visiting professor at the Federal
University of Santa Catarina and at the University of Campinas in Brazil. Dr. Kim received her primary
education in Korea and subsequently earned degrees from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University
of Cincinnati, the University of Colorado Boulder, and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de
Paris.
 
 Kim's current chamber concert series and an installation by the world-renowned artist Ming Wei Lee featuring
works of Franz Schubert are both sponsored by the Walton Family Foundation. These are ongoing projects in
partnership with the celebrated Crystal Bridges Museum of Contemporary Arts.
