Lab No. 12
Displaying geospatial data with graphs

Objectives:
The aim of this lab is to visualize the spatial data with different charts (pie chart, histogram,
stack bars etc.)

A file (vector layer) that comprises different districts of a region is selected as an example.

Figure 1: State divided in districts

Right click on the layer (District) to open its attribute table and see what does the data show,

The data in the attribute table shows the choice of people about different transport system in
different districts. To represent display the districts with different colors

Right click on layer > properties > symbology and select the given option in different boxes.
Then click on random color and press classify tab

To show the different transport facilities, with pie charts, used by the people at different cities

Right click on layer > properties > diagrams . select the mentioned opions

The size of pie charts looks to big. To reduce it,

Right click on layer > properties > diagrams > size
