This refers to our discussion and we would be keen to work with you on your Guntur project in the
state of Andhra Pradesh. We understand that you have a requirement for a for your package DBM
layer for this project.
In this context, we would like to introduce to you a world-leading technology: Shell Mexphalte
CRMB. Shell has developed this technology and knowhow as a result of extensive research and
application experience across the Globe. In India, Shell Mexphalte CRMB technology is offered
through a network of fixed / central plants and site-based plants.

Shell Mexphalte CRMB Application Areas:

Main Applications:
 Shell Mexphalte CRMB is normally used for dense and semi-dense bituminous mixes,
wearing course and binder course of the pavement. It can be used for all DBM layers
and BC layer of the road.
 It can be used for SAM and SAMI layers to prevent reflective cracking.
 It can also be used for premix carpet for low to medium volume roads.
Special Applications:
 High viscosity of Shell Mexphalte CRMB makes it suitable to be used for high-end
applications such as Chip Seal, Spray Seal, SMA (Stone Matrix Asphalt) and Porous or
Drainage Asphalt.

 Shell would supply Shell Mexphalte CRMB Modifier from its plants / warehouses across the

 Shell, through its authorized applicator, will set up the site blending infrastructure at your
project site.
 Shell, through its authorized applicator will do the blending of Shell Mexphalte CRMB 60 at
your site
 Shell, through its QA / QC protocols will ensure that the product meets the required IS / IRC
specifications.

Terms & Conditions:

Logistics: The transportation of CRMB Modifier from Shell warehouse to your project site
would be arranged by you through your authorized transporter, we have considered
approximate cost in the above analysis. Entry Tax, Octroi or any other taxes and charges
levied by state govt. / central govt. will be borne by you and Shell would not be accountable
for the same.

Payment terms: We offer 30 days Credit from the date of supply supported by a Bank
Guarantee.

Validity: Our offer is valid for next 15 days for the purpose of placing the confirmed order, or
signing a MoU for the full quantity for the products mentioned above. The basic price ruling
on the date of delivery will be applicable.

Scope of your Contractor: In order to execute the site blending of Shell Mexphalte CRMB
at site, your contractor would provide the following facilities:
 Thermic Oil Heating and Connection to heat Bitumen up to 165 deg C.
 Generator Power of 80-90 KVA.
 Storage space for proper storage of Shell Mexphalte CRMB Modifier. The
space required for the purpose should be minimum 1000 square feet at each
HMP site.
 Availability and Access to all the lab facilities for testing and QA/QC of the
final product CRMB-60.

Your contractor will also provide us a realistic supply forecast for the forthcoming fortnight to
plan supply of modifier and all the blending activities at site. Any additional quantity over and
above this offer or schedule/ forecast is subject to our confirmation.
