INTRODUCTION
Seed treatment refers to the application of fungicide, insecticide, or a combination of
both, to seeds to disinfect

Minimal effort to control disease, insect and nematode
May compliment host plant resistance
Cannot repair stand loss after it occurs

07.00 – 07.30 Student gathered at Agrotech Plantation. Sang a National
Anthem, ‘Wawasan Setia UiTM’ and ‘The Planters’ song
07.30 – 08.00 Students listen to the briefing given by lecturer
08.00 – 08.10 We moved to nursery plot to started the process of seed
treatment
08.10 – 09.00 Students took turn to peel coffee fruit to get the seed.
After that the good seed was picked and soaked in thiram
fungicide
09.00 – 09.50 Using the planting tray given by our PE, we put peatmoss as
our growing medium.
Students took turn to put the seed that has been soaked with
thiram in the peatmoss.
09.50 – 10.30 Students continued to put the seed until finished. After finish
we took class picture and get ready to went home.
