Transition in Nursing is described to be an innovative, nonlinear journey, where student and

Nursing Personals with varying intensity, go through emotional, intellectual and role-

relationship changes during placement. However some literature includes factors that were

connected with facilitated transition were the quality of the supervision, adjusting to a

professional nurse’s role, achieved comfort and confidence and achieved competence.

My Reflection: At the begning of the visit, we aware invited to sit in a halt for the

introductory lecture to begin. three doctor there to give the lecture. They were friendly and

passionate about delivering the right information to the student and answer all their questions

and concerns, they explained the plan of the visit and later divided us into two groups.

Each group followed a doctor to be introduced to the different department of patel hospital of

Karachi.

Patel hospital is the best hospital of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, At Environvment are good,

and there are a good care for patients and there are medical and paramedical staff are

qualified and well trained and experienced.

The hospital represents tertiary healthcare with its specialized pediatric dedicated to curing

children, and more other departments. special healthcare needs relay on tertiary care-based

services to provide them with comprehensive diagnostic services in sub-specialloy areas of

pediatric. Patel hospital associates different pe3diatric departments and more other

departments that meet all patient’s needs including cardiology, dermatology, dentistry,

endocrinology, gastroenterology, Infectious disease, neurology, psychology, nephrology,

orthopedic, plastic surgery, urology, pulmonology, rheumatology, and many other

departments, all departments follow the child friendly theme. The radiology department is

designed following the marine theme with glow-in-the-dark walls to push the child’s fear,

apart from the hospital’s departments. It provides many different service is associative of

daily living training (ADL) to assist children in learning basic tasks of everyday life. Another

service device training which focuses on maintaining an individual functioning and

independences. An additional service is related to autism spectrum disorder where the

hospital team arrange clinical assessments and diagnosis to child suffering from ASD and

contribute to supporting the childre3n families. The service also include the blue café, a Café

that hospital professional are known for their great empathy and patience in treating children.

The hospital’s in many physician, nurses, clinical dietician, child life specialist, physical

therapists, Pharmacist, and social workers. All of the physicians are specialized in pediatric

covering all fields that many concern child’s health including neurologists, surgeons,

psychiatrics, Radiologists and many other professionals, dealing with children can be critical

as children can’t handle the pan as long as adults. I gave them hope and helped feel safe in

the hospital.
