A. Reviewing previous lesson or The following questions will be asked by the teacher:
presenting the new lesson
1. What are the different insertion methods used in origami production?
2. Why is it necessary to learn and familiarize the different methods and procedures in origami production?
3. Why is creativity important in making origami products?

B. Establishing a purpose for - Motivate the learners by showing an illustration of a Production Cost Plan. (STRATEGY: SHOWING ILLUSTARTION)
the lesson Questions to be asked after showing the illustration: (STRATEGY: BRAINSTORMING)

1. Base on your observation what can you say regarding this illustration?
2. What are the following components of origami products?
2. What will happen if we don’t apply appropriate patterns and colors in making origami products?

Based on the given illustration, what do you think is our topic for today?
- Present the title of the topic to be discussed.
- Discuss the objective for the day.
C. Presenting examples/ - UNLOCK DIFFICULT TERMS:
instances of the new lesson
ENGLISH INTEGRATION: Give synonyms to each term.
SYNONYM/S-- a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same in meaning.

1. FOCAL- relating to the main point of interest

Synonyms: CENTER, PRIMARY
2. VISUAL- relating to what we see or sight
Synonyms: IMAGE, APPEARANCE
3. DISPARITY-showing significant differences
Synonyms: DISSIMILARITY, UNLIKENESS

D. Discussing new concepts ACTIVITY: (STRATEGY: INDUCTIVE APPROACH)

and practicing new skill #1 - Provide the learners with the interactive activity.
- Challenge them to do the activity within 3 minutes.

Directions: Identify words in the given scrambled letters.

ANALYSIS: Sharing of answers and making corrections.

E. Discussing new concepts - PRESENT THE TOPIC CLEARLY. (STRATEGIES: LECTURE, INTEGRATION)
and practicing new skills #2
ELEMENTS OF ARTS AND PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN IN ORIGAMI PRODUCTS

SCIENCE INTEGRATION: How paper is made

 Center of interest- It refers on how we look and see everything where it can get your attention or focal interest.
 Balance- the visual equality in terms of form, color, shape, texture where it is evenly bind or gathered together.
 Harmony- there is unity among the color, shapes, forms or even texture and they are similarly put together.
MAPEH-MUSIC INTEGRATION: Composition of Music
 Contrast- it creates a disparity together with the color, lines, shapes and textures that creates a focal interest of the object.
 Directional Movement- the flow or the motion of how each color, ,lines and texture composed in the object
 Rhythm- it refers to how the elements duplicates around the object.
ESP INTEGRATION: Giving the value of Money , Inculcating Thriftiness

HOTS: WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO LEARN AND IDENTIFY ELEMENTS OF ARTS AND PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN IN ORIGAMI PRODUCTS?
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT CONSIDERATIONS WHEN MAKING ORIGAMI PRODUCTS?

F. Developing Mastery APPLICATION: (STRATEGY: USING DEFINITION AND ILLUSTRATIONS)

(Leads to Formative - Provide illustration with given items.
Assessment 3) Since you already know how the elements of arts and principle of designs, we will be having a group activity. Kindly proceed to your respective
groupings.
Here are the instructions for today’s activity
1. All groups will be given the same electronic activity to answer.
 Activity is good only for 15 minutes.
 Solve the anagrams in the top part of the puzzle.
 Use the circled letters from the words in the top part to complete the final word or phrase at the bottom.
 Each circled letter is used just once.
 I will rate your output based on this given rubric.

G. Finding practical HOW REALLY IMPORTANT IS THE APPLICATION OF ELEMENTS OF ARTS AND PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN?
applications of concepts and
skills in daily living A. IN INNOVATION
- to show limitless ideas and varied designs
B. IN BUDGETING SKILLS
- to become a wise consumer, to save time, energy and even financial resources
B. MATHEMATICAL REASONING
- to show standard methods and procedures
H. Making generalizations -Encourage the learners to generalize the topic presented and share their learnings to the class. (STRATEGY: DISCUSSION)
and abstraction about the
lesson ABSTRACTION: The elements of arts and principle of designs are sort of like atoms in that both serve as "building blocks." You know that atoms
combine and form other things, right? As when hydrogen and oxygen form water (H2O). A similar activity happens when the elements of arts and
principle of designs are combined. Instead of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, etc., in arts you've got elements and principles. All these are very vital in our
creativeness and innovation, as you look around you can see the different form of elements and principles present in every type from simple to
complex matter.

I. Evaluating Learning Direction: Identify the correct answer in each item; choose the answers inside the given box below.

J. Additional activities for Directions:. Select one of your finished projects and take a picture and paste it on your activity notebook. Write the following elements of arts and
Application or remediation principles of design you have applied in your project.

V. REMARKS
VI. REFLECTION

A. No. of learners who earned 80%

in the evaluation.
B. No .of learners who require
additional activities for
remediation who scored below
80%.
C. Did the remedial lessons work?
No. of learners who have caught
up with the lesson.
D. No. of learners who continue to
require remediation
E. Which of my teaching strategies
worked well? Why did these
work?
F. What difficulties did I encounter
which my principal or supervisor
can help me solve?
G. What innovation or localized
materials did I use/discover
which I wish to share with other
teachers?
