REPORT OF LANGUAGE LAB (2022-2023)

BBA.LLB(hons.) 1st year

The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, School of excellence in

Law. Has a well-functioned language lab that facilitates students to
practice the language via computer-based exercises and activities. The
language lab interactive courses provide a very different experience from
the traditional system of teaching and learning English, offering more
advanced features and functionalities. The lab offers the students a
structured E-learning environment to practice English in an entertaining
and interactive way to acquire the main language skills such as listening,
speaking, reading, and writing. The effective use of the lab will enhance
their active vocabulary and improve their proficiency in speaking the
language.

The Language lab with high speed internet facility and audio-visual aids
to refine the linguistic skills of the students. The lab can accommodated 31
students at a time and provide adequate facilities for effective teaching and
learning of various aspects and skills of English Language. Faculty In-

Components in the Language Lab:-

 Teacher has a computer with Clarity Net software for conducting

language exercises.
 Teacher and student positions are connected via LAN (local Area
Network).
 With the help of the software, the development of target and scenario
based communication processes using correct English for language
learning purposes was achieved.

Objectives of the Activity:-

 To equip the student with good communication skills.

 To emphasize the need for English in the technical world.
 To prepare them for interviews and future job environments.
 To train the students in the art of conversation and discussion.

By the end of the class, the primary aim was to it focuses on the
development of students language & Writing skills through the
understanding of 3 pillars of English Language viz. Listening, Speaking,
Reading.
