Everyone can say that Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is a high-end hub of projects and developments.

The ambiance is more of

a developed and sustainable environment due to the simultaneous growth of the establishments and greeneries. The general location
or situation of BGC can also be compared to Bacoor, Cavite – both are comparable to the novel “Tales of the Two Cities.” Since BGC
is currently a part of Taguig, it was easy to see which areas are occupied by the well-off people and not. Since the study is
concentrated to Bonifacio Global City, it was noticeable that they are trying to provide green spaces for every establishments there. SM
Aura, one of BGC’s finest landmark, has its sky garden and multi-level green roof. Bonifacio High Street is also present with vast lawn
space. The underground drainage detention is said to be “what truly going green” means.

On the first run, most people would probably fall in love with the place due to its unique atmosphere - medium-wide streets
with tall buildings in between, the presence of greeneries everywhere and the modern beauty of the city. But in some way, the
observant finds it a bit “suffocating,” probably in the way the buildings were arranged. The not-so-wide streets stretching between these
soaring high structures was the stifling aspect. However, these roads have the width enough for public users to cross safely. Also, the
underground utilities of BGC is remarkable.

As experienced, Bonifacio Global City is a walkable city. Proper sidewalks are present serving also the PWDs through the
ramps. The road networks, though the road is not that wide, are good for the vehicular circulation is smooth and continuous. Proper
traffic systems were also installed in every corner and intersection. It is too much walkable that a person (especially the first timer)
would not prefer riding a public vehicle, because the most abundant public vehicle there are taxi cabs. The city has its BGC Bus with
different routes but catching up with the right route with your destination might be a little of challenge. Jeepneys are abundant in Market
Market vicinity, mostly with Guadalupe Routes. More routes are available within Market Market’s Terminal.

Most housing developments are condominium. High end subdivisions like McKinley are also present in BGC. It is noticeable
that it lacks social housing. The heritage area/spot in the area like the old Philippine Army Museum and Library, was also relocated
from its original situation due to Basis Conversion and Development Authority’s (BCDA) plan. BGC has the war tunnel that plays an
important part in the Army’s rich history as it traces its roots to the Filipino revolutionaries who resisted allegiance to foreign rule.

All in all, BGC’s location is very advantageous for developments. It is bounded by different roads such as the C-5 and Skyway.
The city is complete with common facilities (schools – mostly international schools; hospitals, and commercial districts) but everything is
on its higher standards (not economically friendly for everyone). The city can be said as well-planned through the strategic green ways
it has implemented but In the near future, I hope this city could accommodate all people in different status.
