A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY

DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) 2023-2025 OF
BARANGAY 20 SAN PABLO, SAN NICOLAS, ILOCOS NORTE.

WHEREAS, Sec. 12 of Republic Act (RA) No. of 10121 of Philippine Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Act of 2010, Local Government Units shall have to formulate
and implement a comprehensive and integrated Local Disaster Risk Reduction
Management Plan in accordance with the national, regional, provincial frameworks, and
policies on disaster risk reduction in close coordination with the local development
councils;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council have
adopted and formulated the 2017 Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Plan
pursuant to Sec. 12 Republic Act No. 10121;

WHEREAS, Section 12 of Republic Act No. 10121 provides that the Local Disaster
Risk Reduction Management Plan amounting to not less that 5% of the estimated revenue
from regular sources shall be set aside to support disaster management activities;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad NOEL JOAQUIN duly seconded by

Kagawad ROLANDO ESTAVILLO.;
 BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the COMPREHENSIVE
BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) 2023-2025
of Barangay 20 San Pablo, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte be approved and adopted;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the
Sangguniang Bayan, Department of Interior and Local Government and the Offices of
Municipal Budget Officer and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office for the
review and favorable action and approval.

ADOPTED on February 19,2023.
