Week 2a
Reflection
It definitely wouldn't be there just isn't any left on the earth. Even so, as mining technology
advances, previously inaccessible minerals becomes available, and lower-producing ores are
treated more effectively.
Week 2b: IMPORTANT MINERALS IN SOCIETY
Salt – supplies the body with sodium and chloride ions in the diet
NPK – nitrogen is the most important nutrient, and plants absorb most of it. Phosphorus,
Is linked to a plant’s ability to use and store energy, and photosynthesis. Potassium is nutrient of
commercial fertilizers.
Calcium – helps form and maintain bones and teeth.
Gold – ductile malleable and can be used to take form and makes shapes.
Fluorine – is an important industrial mineral composed of Caf2. Used in a lot of chemicals, metallurgy,
and ceramic processes.

The above are a few ways that I, as a student, may contribute to the preservation of mineral resources:
Mineral resources will be used in a planned and sustainable way, including alternative renewable
alternatives had been used. improving technology that would allow for the usage of low-grade ores
