APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 05

Series of 2022

AN ORDINACE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIVE MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT 95/100 (5,879,568.95) TO FINANCE THE OPERATIONAL EXPENSES OF THE
BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF CULANDANUM, BATARAZA, PALAWAN FOR CY 2023.

BE IT ENACTED, by the Sangguniang Barangay of Culandanum, Bataraza, Palawan in its special session
assembled, that;

SECTION 1. The total amount of Five Million Eight Hundred Seventy-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Eight 95/100
(5,879,568.95) To Finance Operation Expenses of the Barangay Government of Culandanum Bataraza, Palawan for CY
2023.

SECTION 2. The above amount is hereby appropriated to, summarized as follows:

a.) Personal Services 2,546,019.08

b.) Maintenance and Other Operating Services 864,499.59
c.) 20% Development Fund 1,175,913.79
d.) Gender and Development Program 293,978.44
e.) SK Fund 587,956.90
f.) 5% Calamity Fund (30%) 88,193.53
g.) 5% Calamity Fund (70%) 205,784.91
h.) Senior Citizen and Person with Disability Fund 58,795.69
i.) BCPC Fund 58,427.02
Total Appropriation ₱ 5,879,568.95

SECTION 3. Proposed General Provisions

a. Income from operating and miscellaneous fees shall be collected at maximum efficiency.
b. The policies for providing funds for Mandatory Allocations pursuant to the provisions of the Local Code are as
follows:

Internal Revenue Allocation (IRA) Share shall be used for basic services delivery including administrative and
legislative services.
20% of the IRA shall be used for priority development projects.
10% of the General Fund shall allocate for Sangguniang Kabataan (SK).
5% of Regular Income shall be used for unforeseen calamities.
55% of the total Regular Income of next preceding year shall be allocated for personal services.
Granting of Year-End Bonus to Barangay officials and employees as provided in LBC No. 2010-1 pursuant to
Section 325(a) and 331 (b) of R.A. No. 7160 (PS limitations).
 c. The Punong Barangay is hereby authorized to augment any item in the approved annual budget from saving in
other items within the same expenses class of the appropriations, in accordance with Section 336 of the Local
Government Code of 1991.

d. No funds shall be disbursed by the Barangay Treasurer in excess of the appropriation embodied in this
appropriation ordinance and in the Barangay Annual Budget CY 2023 without Supplemental Budget duly
accomplished and approved in accordance with existing laws and regulations.

e. All procurement shall strictly follow the provisions of R.A. No. 9184, the Government Procurement Reform Act.

SECTION 3. This Appropriation Ordinance shall take effect on the 10th day of October 2022.
