There are many things that can create our personal deposit of faith. The ten things listed

above were the ones my group have most in common. For the most part they are all things we

have experienced or know and believe in. There is definitely one thing I was surprised about, but

I do agree with and that is ghosts.

Sharples 2

Ghosts can be a good thing, but when you think about it, they can also be scary and

creepy. I don’t necessarily want to associate my faith with them. With that said I one hundred

percent believe in them though, because a friend of my parents have seen one in their house

multiple times. It is a good ghost that watches over them and their family. They have been given

unexpected warning signs if something is wrong before the problem occurs. In that case, I

believe a ghost is a great thing. I’ve also heard a story of ghosts whom haunt people who have

built houses over coal mines that people over a century ago died in. To me that is totally creepy

and not a good thing to have in life.

For this reason, it was hard for me to agree with the group about ghosts. I do know and

completely understand that ghosts are a part of our faith though, so I felt obligated to agree to

make ghosts one of the ten things on the list. Along with the ghost our personal deposit of faith is

created by many different things. I do believe our group worked wonderful together as a team to

pick the top ten that fit our lives best even if ghosts had to be a part of it.
