 Did you know that coal-fired power plant is the most reliable
source of electricity in the Philippines? Despite being non-
renewable, it is the most common source of electricity in our
country. It produces almost 50% of the Philippines’ needed
electricity. There are 16 coal-fired power plants in the
Philippines as of today and possibly become 25 in the coming
years due to the increasing demand for electricity.
