UNIT 6: OUR TET HOLIDAY

Lesson 5: SPEAKING

I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- Memorize and use phrases related to TET HOLIDAY
-Use the structure “should/shouldn’t” to talk about what they should/shouldn’t do
at TET.

2. Skills:
- express their opinions about/talk about what they should or shouldn’t do at Tet.

3. Attitude: To teach SS to work hard and love Tet holiday; and do some useful
activities at Tet holiday/choose activities that they find useful to do at Tet.

II. MATERIALS
* Preparation:
1. Teacher: Textbooks, pictures, planning, …
- Grade 6 textbook, Unit 5, skills 1
- Smart TV/Pictures, sets of word cards
2. Students: Textbooks, notebooks, posters, ….
III. PROCEDURE:

Pre–speaking (5’)
Task 3
* Aims: To use the ideas/activities from the reading passage to talk about what they do at
Tet/ help Ss to talk about the activities they have learnt from the reading passage.
* Content: discuss what they do/ don't do during Tet.
* Organization of implementation:

* Products: Students’ ideas on the posters and discussion in groups.

* Products: Students’ opinion are reported in front of the class
