EXPLORE:
The teacher will present pictures of different styles of the skirt and let the students name the
following style of skirts.
FIRM UP:
Students will be paired up.
Students will be asked to browse in their phone/laptop the different style of ladies’ skirts, by
pair.
The paired students will select 2 style of skirt based on their fashion
preferences.
The pair will choose a representative to explain the following:
a. first designer of the skirt
b. what type of body figure does the style of the skirt fit most.
DEEPEN: “Discussion”
The teacher will present and discuss the following:
a. Procedure in Taking Body Measurements for ladies’ skirt
b. Procedure in Drafting the different styles of ladies’ skirt
c. Techniques in cutting final pattern
After the teacher’s discussion, the paired students will discuss what style of

ladies skirt they’re going to made a pattern following the guideline below.
a. Style of skirt must fit to their model’s body figure (boys will choose one of
their girl classmates to be their model.)
TRANSFER: “Demonstration
The students will now take their partners body measurement following the Procedure in
Taking Body Measurements for Ladies skirt.
The students will now proceed to drafting block/basic pattern by using their partners body
measurement following the Procedure in Drafting of different styles of ladies’ skirt
Guidelines:
a. Draft the foundation pattern (front pattern and back pattern)
b. Must follow the procedure in drafting based on their chosen style of skirt.
c. Used the materials in drafting pattern properly.
The students will now cut the pattern accurately applying the Techniques in Cutting final
Pattern.
The student will video records their demonstration. Edit it after, in a creative way as best as
they can and post the video on their social media accounts for educational purposes.
