Industries & Cultural Policy
The scope of cultural creative industries are broad, including advertising

and marketing; architecture; crafts, product, graphic and fashion design;
film, TV, video, radio and photography; IT, software and computer ser-
vices; publishing; museums, galleries and libraries; music, performing
and visual arts, etc..
This multi-faceted course examines the development, management, and

policy of the cultural and creative industries and explore practical and
theoretical issues facing cultural entrepreneurs, professionals and policy-
makers. It uses a range of analytical tools from sociology, management,
policy, linguistics, informatics, and cultural studies, and draws on teach-
ing, research and professional expertise from both CHSS's academics and
professionals working in the field.

As an international applicant, you will automatically be considered for
YZU Scholarship without needing to submit a separate application. You
will be informed if you are shortlisted.

Brief Description of Conditions for Application:
New Students:
 YZU Scholarship and degree application are conducted together. No
additional application documents or separate application system are
required
 YZU Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship. Applicants will be as-
sessed by the reviewing committee based on the documents submitted
in the YZU online application system.
 The decision of the committee is final. Questions or negotiations re-
garding the decisions will not be responded
Existing Students:
Global Affairs Office will announce the renewal/ application for YZU
Scholarship every semester via YZU student S-mail. Students who are
eligible for renewal/ application must apply for YZU Scholarship each
academic semester. Students who failed to apply by the indicated dead-
line will lose their scholarship.
 Only Tuition Waiver can be renew/apply each semester. Please refer
the table below for tuition waiver percentage.
 Stipend is not included in the merit-based evaluation.
