The pictures illustrate he transfomation of the ground floor of a gallery from 1990 to 2010

Overall, it can be seen that the gallery witnessed dramatic change with the conversion of some places
and the construction of new facilities.

To begin with, there are new developments on the left side of the museum. The statue in the northwest
corner was moved to the middle of the museum, while the gift shop was expanded to the east and this
shop was renovated to become a place for people who wanted to enjoy coffee, then bought the
present. Furthermore, a lift was built between this and the natural history room in the south. In addition
to, both the natural history room and the museum office in the south of the lift remained the same.

The reception counter in front of the museum office was moved nearer to the entrance at the bottom of
the gallery. The entrance remained in the same place but was also extended to both the east and the
west. Although, the archaeology gallery in the northeast corner was separated into two parts: The
children interactive zone was built to the east of the stairs, and the Poster display area was added to the
east of the statue in the center of the museum. However, the Local history room was not undergone by
any changes.
