Axiological or Evaluative plane – As I look deeper into the art, it
mesmerizes me with the two main colors that were used in it, which are orange and blue. I think the color orange represents the sunset that is happening, and the blue represents the ocean. On the left side, I can see that it is a combination of the colors blue and orange, and the most abundant is the blue that slowly turns into black. I think that the message of the left side shows the color of the sky when the sun sets. 2. Iconic plane - I think the artist chose blue because it represents freedom, and the artist portrays that we all need freedom in our society. The orange represents energy, which is essential in our lives. The environment talks about heat and cold. 3. Contextual plane – The blue and orange represent sunset. In many cultures, the sunset represents the end of something, be it a long day or a person's life. That might sound a bit dark, but many individuals do associate sunsets with something major coming to an end. 4. Semiotics – The art is abstract it has a straight line in the middle and a slant line. The shapes that can be seen in the artwork are different kinds of squares, like trapezium, quadrilateral, and rectangle. The texture looks rough on the darker side and smooth on the orange side.
