CAREERS FOR VIOLINISTS 1

Abstract

Violinists are not in high demand, but the career is certainly not going anywhere. In Minnesota,

the job market has been fairly level without much change since the lockdowns of 2020. There are

very few jobs that would utilize a skill like playing an instrument. An actor or performer in Saint

Paul makes an average of $64,000 a year. A music tutor/teacher makes an average of $29.44 an

hour. There are no certifications required to be a performer nor are there any certifications

required for being a private tutor. A teacher in a school, on the other hand, will require a

bachelor's degree at the very least and of course a teaching license. Both of these jobs have been

around for hundreds of years. They are likely here to stay, making the ideal time to start any

time.
