INTRODUCTION

The word “science” comes from the Latin word scire, which means “to know”.
The goal of all sciences is knowledge. In order to master the scientist’s skills of
observation that will serve as tools to solve the secret of the unknown, one must be
familiar with the correct techniques when these are used.

At the end of this activity, the students should gain knowledge of the important
