What I learned about myself over my senior year of high school but also with this

capstone project is that when college comes around in the fall of 2023, I would need to

stick to the script of the things I need to do because they need to be done. Discipline will

help with getting the things that need to be done in college. It will also help with getting

work done and classwork done at western. Networking with different people in this

capstone project helped complete it like working with tyler mcneil to get the pictures that

i post on the smsa athletic page. Looking at different people's capstone and connecting

with different people has been good to connect. I definitely gave encouragement to the

student athletes because most of the athletes have instagram and they follow the page

to see the post i make. Whenever I post about how their team did, usually on big games

or big announcements they repost it on their page and tag me in their repost. Then I

post them on the school story so everyone can see it on the page. In the next month to

accomplish more of the project would be to keep posting but to also find a junior that

would like to take over the page next year. I will most likely need to find a junior that is

on social media a lot because it’ll be better for them to do and easier since they are on

social media in the first place. I’ve talked to a couple of the juniors to take over the smsa

athletics page, i'm currently looking at a girl to take over the page because i feel a

female would be better to take over the page. I also learned that since we don’t have

jobs that adults do for the school and the students do that i realized getting these

athletes exposure is very important for the school and the athletic side of the school.
