Let’s practice.
 A conversation.
Assign ss 1-3 dialogues to practice with their peers. One SS can practice with 2 or 3 others.

 Asking and answering questions.


SS can work in pairs or in groups to ask and answer questions about a specific topic (food, family, house,
neighborhood).

 Discussing some sentences.


Ask SS to write down some sentences (3-10) and then discuss their sentences in groups.

 Describing some pictures.


Ask SS to describe what they can see and what is happening in pictures (books, others pics).

 Etc.

SUMMARY

The teacher is a leader whose role is to guide


the SS by telling them what to and how to do it.
In languages learning it is important that the
teacher promote lots of interaction among SS in
order to make them use the new language.
Finally, the teacher must be consistant with the
rules, homework, participation, grades, and so
on.
