(REBECCA, GLADYS, and FINNICK stand by the fountain. ISABELLE rushes in from offstage,
screaming.)

REBECCA
(Mockingly)
Aw, what happened, did you break a nail?

ISABELLE
No, it is so much worse. I lost my grandmother’s stupid old ring!

REBECCA
(Mockingly)
Oh, poor thing, you must be so stressed.

ISABELLE
(Accusatory)
Hey! What did I do to deserve, (Points at REBECCA and moves finger up and down.) all of this?

REBECCA
B-, please.

GLADYS
(Harshly)
Becca, calm down. She just made a mistake.

REBECCA
Ok, babe. Just feeling angry, that’s all.

ISABELLE
Uh, should I go, or can you help me with that ring?

REBECCA
Ok, but you owe me. And I mean it this time.

ISABELLE
(Mockingly)
You mean it? Oh, well thanks for the faith Little Red Riding hood.

REBECCA
(Angrily)
Keep that up and a ring isn’t the only thing you’re going to lose!

FINNICK
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Ladies, let’s just calm down and-

ALL (Except FINNICK.)

SHUT UP FINNICK!

(FINNICK panickedly looks around and spots the ring in the fountain.)

FINNICK
Hey look! The ring!

REBECCA
We’re not falling for that again, Finnick-

(ISABELLE pulls the ring from the fountain. ALL look at ISABELLE and the ring with a dumbfounded expression.)

FINNICK
See!? I didn’t lie!

(REBECCA grabs the ring.)

REBECCA
Mine!

GLADYS
(Angrily)
Becca! Give her the ring!

REBECCA
Honestly, how much does this thing even matter?! It’s just some stupid bling!

(While REBECCA and GLADYS bicker, ISABELLE notices that the actual ring is still in the fountain and REBECCA is
holding a different one. ISABELLE grabs the real ring from the fountain)

ISABELLE
(Running offstage)
