Nicamae Umayao is a grade eleven Zeus student under the advisory of Mrs. Jinky
Ann T. Tugublimas. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alejandro Umayao of Brgy.
Nagba, Tigbauan, Iloilo. She loves dancing. She describes herself as a strong and
independent woman as she can stand on her own feet and face the challenges that
comes her way. She dreams to be a flight attendant someday and desires to travel
different countries and places around the world. She stands 5’3 in height. Her
favorite subject is Practical Research and Mathematics. Her favorite color is red as it
symbolizes a strong personality and independence from everything. Table tennis is

Innovative Attire
Nicamae Umayao is a seventeen year old student and a native of Brgy. Nagba,
Tigbauan, Iloilo. She is an advocate of an eco-friendly environment as seen in her
elegant attire. Her innovative attire is a gown designed by Rainier Tusalem and John
Nelmar Celiz. It is made of Flemingia leaves, popularly known as Callakay leaves. It
is puzzled and beaded together to create a classy and stylish eco-friendly gown.
Flemingia’s leaves are very slow to decompose, which serves to prevent germination
of weed seeds and maintain a higher level of soil moisture than other mulches. Her
advocacy is to promote a school friendly environment. She strongly believes that
school is where peace, harmony and learning is shared. Again, Nicamae Umayao in
her innovatire attire!

Tasic. He is the son of Mrs. Ailyn Jalando-on of Brgy. Sermon, Tigbauan, Iloilo. He is
5’6 in height. Beatboxing is his passion. He loves to beatbox while singing. He
describes himself as fun to be with and a responsible son. He dreams to be a
seafarer someday to help his family and to travel the world. His favorite subject is
Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction. Blue is his favorite color as it symbolizes
loyalty, trust and wisdom. During his leisure time, he loves playing basketball and
soccer.

Innovative Attire:
Christian J. Ilaya is seventeen years old and a grade 11 student. He is a native of
Brgy. Sermon, Tigbauan, Iloilo and the son of Mrs. Ailyn Jalando-on. His innovative
attire is made of Flemingia plant or commonly known as Callakay that was hand-
crafted with love to create a sophisticated look. Flemingia is a woody, leguminous,
deep-rooted shrub native to Asia. Flemingia is useful in erosion control, for shade or
shelter, for soil improvement and as a windbreak. Designer: Rainier Tusalem and
