Integer
1. Positive and negative numbers are always used in our daily life. Following are some
situations that can be represented by positive and negative numbers.
Nombor positif dan nombor negatif selalu digunakan dalam kehidupan seharian kita. Berikut adalah antara
situasi yang boleh diwakili oleh nombor positif dan negatif.

Suhu Suhu lebih daripada 0°C. Suhu kurang daripada 0°C.

2. Positive numbers are more than zero and are written with (+) sign.
Nombor positif adalah lebih besar daripada sifar dan ditulis dengan tanda (+).

3. Negative numbers are less than zero and are written with (−) sign.
Nombor negatif adalah lebih kecil daripada sifar dan ditulis dengan tanda (−).

4. Integer is a group of numbers consisting of positive whole numbers, negative whole numbers
and zero. Integers can be represented in a number line as shown below.
Integer ialah kumpulan nombor yang terdiri daripada nombor positif, nombor negatif dan sifar. Integer boleh
diwakili dalam suatu garis nombor seperti yang ditunjukkan di bawah.

5. Positive integers are whole numbers which are greater than zero. These numbers are on the
right hand side of zero in a number line.
Integer positif ialah nombor bulat yang lebih besar daripada sifar. Kesemua nombor ini berada di sebelah kanan
sifar pada suatu garis nombor.

6. Negative integers are whole numbers which are less than zero. These numbers are on the left
hand side of zero in a number line.
Integer negatif ialah nombor bulat yang kurang daripada sifar. Kesemua nombor ini berada di sebelah kiri sifar
pada suatu garis nombor.

7. The integer zero is neutral, has no sign of (+) or (−). It is neither positive nor negative.
Integer sifar adalah neutral, tidak mempunyai tanda (+) atau (−). Sifar bukan nombor positif atau negatif.

8. Integers can also be represented by a vertical number line as shown below.

Integer juga boleh diwakili oleh garis nombor mencancang seperti ditunjukkan di bawah.
