Releases the New Single

Take Me Away For The Night

7th June 2010
Take Me Away For The Night is the brand new single from the Orange unsigned winner, Tommy Reilly, coming from the highly anticipated second album entitled, Hello! Im Tommy Reilly which is due for release early June 2010. Tommy benefited from the enormous exposure that the Orange Unsigned competition granted him and as you would expect 2009 was an extremely busy year for Tommy with constant media attention, gigs and interviews that thrust Tommy into the hearts and minds of the public. T in the Park and Glasgows Hogmanay Party at George Square being notable highlights. This year should see Tommy continue to add to his every growing fanbase with the release of a new album and tours to follow. After recently severing ties with Universal Music, Tommy has found artistic freedom enabling him to have more control over songwriting and production. This can be heard on the new single Take Me Away For The Night the first track to be lifted from the album Hello! Im Tommy Reilly. Tommy has fully embraced his song writing prowess with Take Me Away For The Night. This single still encompasses Tommys heartfelt yet innocent lyrics, juxtaposed with a brilliant upbeat accompaniment, showing his unassailable optimism and again proving himself as an instinctive writer of pop songs. Tommy asked fellow Scot and top UK producer John McLaughlin to remix Take Me Away for the Night the result is a vibrant and dynamic radio mix that is sure to appeal to supporters and convert many more to Tommys music.
