CIPUTRA GOLFPRENEUR FOUNDATION SUMMARY

Mission & Vision Statement

“Our non-profit organization is to inspire and equip dedicated young Indonesian golfers with the
education, facilities, and entrepreneurial spirit to become “world class” champions in golf and life".
Program Objectives
To get our young Indonesian golfers to participate in the 2020 Olympic Event by providing the
necessary tournaments and facility support for them to obtain sufficient Official World Golf Ranking
(OWGR) to achieve in the top 300-350.

How is OWGR calculated:

Ranking is based on each player’s Average Points. Average Points is calculated by Total Points is the
accumulative points achieved by a player for 104 weeks divided by the number of events played
using a minimum of 40 events played (Divisor). So if a player has accumulated more than 40 events
played, he will start to lose his average points. Also after 13 weeks of accumulated points will also be
reduced to place additional emphasis on recent performance.

Untuk Turnamen:

Conclusion:
This program allows our players to have the opportunity and timing to achieve the maximum points
to improve their OWGR based on the existing talent pool. We have made various simulations to
conclude that given the current conditions it will be a challenging but not impossible task ie. Top 5 in
several ADT or AT events maybe achievable to obtain top 300-350 OWGR for 2020 olympic criteria.
Nevertheless whether we achieve it or not, we belive that this is the first time in Indonesia that such
development program will be implemented to allow our players target OWGR objectives.
Key Performance Criteria:
TIMING LUCK
TALENT X OPPORTUNITY X X = OWGR
(Peak Period) FACTOR
Note:
We should also consider to improve the “Luck Factor” conduct several more ADT events in Indonesia
that may favour our Indonesian players. The idea is to have minimum prize money and play courses
on where they give advantage to our players.
