The characters in the story are Mwindo, She-Mwindo, seven wives of chief, counselors,

chief, people of Tubondo, Iyangura, serving girls, the blacksmith, the musicians, drummers of
their village, gods, Kahindo and Nyamurairi. The story went from a chief wanting to have
children who are all women as he can benefit from them. But his favorite wife gave birth to a
boy and the chief didn’t want him. So, he tried to kill him. He tried to kill him many times but he
did not succeed. Mwindo didn’t feel welcome in his father’s village so he went to his aunt
instead. His aunt welcomed him, took care of him and raised him well. When the time came
that he felt like he’s ready to fight his father. He decided to go and fight him. Before that, there
are people who helped him to become invincible and made his body like an iron. They also
decided to help him fight his father. When they arrived at his father’s village, they fought with
the men of tubondo and his uncles died so he decided to go there himself. He tried to fight
them but they did not succeed. The men of tubondo all died. His aunt told him that he came
there to fight with his father not the people. So, he made them all come back to life. His father
regrets the things he said and did to his son so he ran away. He went through the hole and
stayed underground, in the land of the Gods. Mwindo tried to get his father back but the Gods
wanted to challenge him first. He surpasses all of their challenges so he got his father back and
