1885, INC was formed.

WE DEMAND
MORE
CHANGES!

Indian nationalists were not satisfied with Indian council act, 1861
and they demanded more changes like :

1. Central and provincial legislature changes


2. Discussion to be allowed on financial matters
3. Increase the strength of the Additional
members in central legislature.

So, Indian council act, 1892 was introduced.

PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE

Additional members were also increased.

They were elected by:

Universities Zamindars

Municipalities District Board

Chamber of commerce

This is the 1st step toward Representative government.

OTHER CHANGES:
• Additional members were allowed to ask questions to executive
council members after giving 6 day notice.

• Supplementary questions were still not allowed to ask.

• Discussions on financial matters were allowed.
