Activity Title
3-Day Valenzuela Telemedicine System Hackathon with Valenzuela City Health Office (VCHO) Process
Owners and Brgy. Health Centers (BHCs)
Objectives:
This program is designed to have a specific focus and clarity on the design requirements and system
specifications of the telemedicine process owners for the establishment of the Valenzuela Telemedicine
System.
In IT terms, this type of collaboration is called a Hackathon, where many people meet to intensively focus,
collaborate, and address a particular challenge, design, or feature of the software.
Workshop Topics:
1. Presentation of proposed System User Interface and System Workflows based on the results of the
Stakeholder Consultation; and,
2. Design and finalize the user requirements, design, and system features from the proposed System User
Interface and design sets inputs.
Expected Output
The key output of the activity is defined and finalized deliverables in terms of system functionalities, means of
verification, assumptions as well as of outputs, and fine-tuning of features and activities.
Target Participants
The room will be arranged classroom-type for 30 people, with space to walk around on the left, right and
center. LCD and LCD screen will be set-up in front. During the sessions, participants will be posting metacards
in the projected slides at the LCD screens, hence, plain white walls would be preferred, if possible. Two
whiteboards will also be set up at the left and right side of the LCD screen.
A secretariat and documenter’s table will also be set up on the right side, away from the participants but
with a good view of the screen.
