Other Benefits

 4-year employment guarantee for all GCSA employees who agree to go to SABC (with exceptions as per side letter)
 Employee transferring to SABC will retain the Grade they acquired at the transition
 Extension of the existing health insurance coverage to employees in Category 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (Diageo L6 & 7) for a
period of 1 year from the effective transition date for an employee transferring to SABC. The extension also applies to
Spirits employees made redundant and Employees at 5 years to retirement that choose to leave
 The company will also make arrangements to extend a health support to following group:
o Employee currently benefiting from Life HIV treatment (current and former employee) will keep these benefits
o Employee with exceptional health issue as define by Occupational health team will also be supported on case-
by-case basis
 All employees eligible for the Trust fund will be paid the amount of the Fund consisting of the worker's (Part A) and
employer's (Part B) contributions and any interest generated
o The amount in the dormant account i.e., Part B of employee that have left the company without meeting
eligibility conditions would be distributed among employees. 52 706 192CFA
 The penalties for the early collection of funds in VESS are contractually borne by employees. However, the company has
agreed to cover the penalties
 The Mutuelle was initially funded partly by an XAF 80,000,000 contribution from GCSA, fully expensed in the company
books. This amount will be distributed to members of the Fund.
 Car disposal
o The vehicles that lease have expired and for which a replacement car is available will be disposed to
employees following our asset disposal and car policy from this month.
o The tool car vehicles whose lease will expire within the transition period will also be disposed of to employees,
provided a replacement car is available.
o Status vehicle users will have the option to purchase their vehicle at the residual value as of the end of the
transition, following the principles of the car and asset disposal policies.
 Special Medal allowance
o Employees that are entitle to labor medal awards following the eligibility criteria describe in the GCSA
company agreement will received the following benefits:
o 10 years of service: 1-month base salary + seniority + 4 Crates + 1 Btle Red Label
o 15 years of service: 1-month base salary + seniority + 6 Crates + 1 Btle Black Label
o 25 years of service: 1-month base salary + seniority + 8 Crates + 1 Btle Gold Label
