Pressure reducing valves

The new JRGURED generation

The JRGURED pressure reducing valves is a compact

fitting for water systems consisting of a strainer and
a pressure reducing valve. The strainer incorporated

ahead of the pressure reducing valve as a standard
feature keeps out suspended particles which are larger
than 1.000 micron. In case of need or if there should be
11 a significant pressure drop during the consumption of
water, the strainer can be cleaned easily.
The shapely JRGURED pressure reducing valve not
only impresses with its performance values, but also
with the price-performance ratio. The fitting, which is
6 tested and approved by the SVGW, DVGW and ÖVGW
5 is patented and thanks to its sophisticated modular
7 design fulfils all demands which are made of an inline-
with-the-times armature.
3 The JRGURED pressure reducing valve is designed for
1 the nominal pressure PN 25 and is available in four
versions, sizes ½ to 2 ½.

2 The works pressure settings of 0.5 to 10.0 bar can
easily be adapted to the hydraulic conditions on site
8 by a plumbing specialist. Depending on the version,
the fitting can accept water temperatures up to 70°C.

installation measurements as its predecessor and

therefore a problem-free exchange is possible.

Distribution manifold for three pressure levels

Centrally installed pressure reducing valves enhance
the living comfort and the service lifetime of a plum-
bing system and of the domestic appliances connected
to it. For systems with different pressure levels, seve-
ral pressure reducing valves with different secondary
pressures have to be utilized.

Appliance-, machine-connections with a separate

pressure reducing valve
Appliances or machines can if so required be connec-
ted through their own pressure reducing valve.
In doing so, the prescriptions of the manufacturer of
the appliance or machine as well as the installation
prescriptions of the local water supply have to be
complied with.

Installation position
The JRGURED pressure reducing valve is fully operable
completely independent of its installation position. • Minimum installation height
The JRGURED pressure reducing valve has to be built
into the line free of any tension at an easily accessible
location. For the strainer maintenance, a distance of
60 mm is necessary. JRGURED pressure reducing • Same installation length as
valves with plastic filter cups have to be installed in JRGURED 1130
such a manner, that they are protected from intensive
UV radiation.

valves, please apply the country-specific guidelines.
