English Language:
7ENLG question paper will be 2 hous 30 minutes, and total marks for the paper is 80 marks. It will be
divided into three sections: -
Section A – Comprehension (40 marks)
Section B – Grammar and Vocabulary (15 marks)
Section – Writing (25 marks)
The Writing Task will not be the same as the ones done in class. However, students will be tested on writing
the following text types.
• Magazine articles
• Report
Comprehension texts will be unseen. Students will be tested on their knowledge of grammar rules and its
application. Vocabulary will be from the chapters studied in class and from the unseen comprehension as
well.
Students are expected to revise class notes, handouts, worksheets, class tests and unit test papers,
including answers given in class.

Unit 4 – Advertising – Setting
Study up the conventions and features of advertisements. Develop ways of evaluating and
a company criticising advertisements. Adverts to sell household goods, adverts for charities, adverts
