Researcher: What influences you to take notes during class discussion of your teachers?

Participant: I cannot remember all the lectures, so I will take notes and study them at home at
night.

Researcher: What is the most common note-taking strategies do you use during your
classes?

Participant: I just handwrite when taking notes

Researcher: What challenges have you experienced when taking notes in class?

Participant: I find it difficult to take notes when the teacher speaks and writes on the board very
fast.

Researcher: What benefits do you believe note-taking provides in helping you understand and
retain information presented in class?

Participant: Taking notes helps me retain and understand the topics presented by my teacher
better
