    A powerful tornado formed in Manapla,
    Negros Occidental, the Philippines on
    December 13, 2016, leaving 4 residents with
    minor injuries and 86 houses damaged.

    The tornado formed around 12:40 PHT and


    barreled through Barangay for 15 – 20 minutes,
    ripping off the roofs of a covered court, church
    and office. In total, local media reported, 86
    houses were damaged, some of them severely.
    Four houses were destroyed.

    At 3 in the afternoon of August 14, 2016, a


    tornado formed in Metro Manila, Philippines. It
    formed a funnel-shaped cloud swirling in the
    atmosphere after the rain stopped.

    The aftermath of the natural phenomenon


    made a significant damage to several
    establishments, properties, and structures,
    electric post, uprooted trees on its path, the
    estimated damage to the properties is at least
    1 million pesos.

    At 1 AM a tornado ravaged a portion


    of General Santos City the tornado
    struck during the height of the rain
    that also brought strong winds shortly
    after midnight. The tornado toppled
    several electric posts and uprooted
    many trees as it crawled violently in
    different patches in the city including
    at SM City of Gensan leaving behind
    pile of liter and garbage.

    Some 43 houses were damaged while several


    power lines were toppled after a mild tornado
    hit a coastal village and portions of the city’s
    central business district early Thursday. No
    casualties were reported in the incident, which
    toppled several electric posts and cut off power
    supply for several hours in parts of the village.
