1. CAPSTONE FOCUS:

The Capstone Project is focused on the area of Information Systems wherein an Android-based
trading platforms for agriculture related products and services

2. CAPSTONE BACKGROUND:

The agricultural industry is a vital sector that contributes significantly to the global economy.
However, the traditional methods of trading agricultural products and services have proven to be
inefficient, time-consuming, and sometimes unreliable. As a result, there is a growing need for
innovative and efficient mobile-based application trading platform that connects farmers, buyers,
and sellers in a more streamlined way.

4. PROBLEM ON THE CAPSTONE FOCUS:

Many farmer and small-scale agricultural businesses struggle to reach buyers and market their
products effectively. Often, they lack access to modern technologies and infrastructure, making it
difficult to connect with potential customers and conduct transactions easily.

5. SOLUTION TO THE CAPSTONE AREA:

An Android-based trading platform for agricultural products and services with SMS notification
could provide an effective solution to this problem. Such a platform could allow farmers and small
businesses to advertise their product and services, conduct transactions easily through a simple
mobile application.

6. END-USERS FOR THE PROJECT:

The end-users of this platform would primarily be farmers, traders, and consumers who are
interested in buying or selling agricultural products and services.
