Around Forklifts

 Maintain a safe distance around a forklift when

in use
Danger Zone –
Falling distance of an object from a pallet or 15 feet, 5 Feet
both sides, 5 Feet Rear of Forklift.
 When passing a forklift ask operator if it safe to
do so (ALL CLEAR).
 Do not pass under the forks while in operation.
 Do not cut across path or cut between a forklift
in operation and a fix object.
 Do not stand on the forks.
 Observe all intersections for Forklift Traffic.
 Be mindful of surroundings.
 No riders.
 No horseplay around the Forklift

These guidelines are in place to assure the Safety and Heath of all Employees. Any
violation of these guidelines will result in discipline under
