PREPARATION OF LAYER ZERO

1. Move the WORK piston up to the upper permitted level.

2. Clean the WORK piston on the TOP surface and also clean the gap between the piston and cylinder
(i.e. by means a vacuum cleaner).

 3. Install the platform with the substrate on the piston bajonet and fix it by complete rotation.

4. Lower the substrate surface to the baseplate level.

5. Lower the WORK piston by 0.2mm and lift the SUPPLY piston of 0.1mm.

 6. Move the coater and spread the powder.

7. Continue to move the coater and spread the powder WITHOUT lifting the SUPPLY piston. The WORK
piston has to be lifted some tens of micron every recoating action till the powder is completely removed
from the substrate.

8. Move up the work piston 0.,15mm and then you can start the job
