Yes, we consider checklists as an effective checklist is an assessment tool that lists the
specific criteria for skills,behaviors or attitudes that participants must demonstrate successful
training and learning. Checklists typically include statements or questions about the participants
performance an each criterion. Assessment methods that are well-designed provide useful
information about student learning. They provide information about what students learn,how well
they learn it,and where they struggled.
Checklist help students feel in control and hold them accountable by removing constraints to
success such as “ I don’t know about it” or “ I don’t have any ideas” Checklists keep our
students on track.
