Hoi An Ancient Town is a well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating
from the 15th to the 19th century. It has a lot of tourist attractions such as temples, pagodas,
ancient homes, relics of Sa Huynh and Cham cultures Hoi An river, Cua Dai Beach and Cham
island. Especially, Its buildings and its street reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign
(principally Chinese and Japanese with later European influences) , that have combined to
produce this unique heritage site. The architecture of the houses is quite special: 1-2 floors high,
tubular, tile roof, sidewalk, porch, main house, outbuildings, back garden, … showing the
harmony between nature and living space. The front porch here is decorated with Chinese-style
lanterns or ball-shaped lanterns, creating a unique beauty. This makes visitors comfortable and
excited when visiting Hoi An. Hoi An is also famous for traditional craft villages such as Kim

Hoi An people are hospitable and friendly. Wherever you go, visitors can easily see their
friendly eyes and bright smiles. Coming here, visitors cannot ignore special dishes such as Cao
Lau, Quang noodles, deep-fried pancakes, “white rose” cake.
With its own inherent beauty, Hoi An increasingly attracts domestic and foreign tourists. I hope
to have the opportunity to come to Hoi An ancient town to feel the beauty of this place with my
