A Bus Accident

condition of those injured in the bus accident.

Dr. Salim: We have twelve injured in the
‫مصاب منهم تسع حاالت إصابتهم‬
hospital, including nine cases of minor injuries, ،‫خفيفة‬
and three in critical condition.

Tamer: Who are the people in critical condition?

Dr. Salim: The first case is Mr. Thabet, sixty-six
years old. ‫ أول حالة هو األستاذ‬:‫الدكتور سالم‬
He has a brain hemorrhage, and a problem in the ،‫ عمره سته وستين سنة‬،‫ثابت‬
heart and the lungs, and he is in intensive care.

We are putting him on a respirator.

The second case is Mrs. Nancy, forty-five years

femur, and a broken left leg. She needs surgery for
the femur bone, and, of course, after the surgery,
‫ عندها شرخ في‬،‫خمسة وأربعين سنة‬
she will need extensive physical therapy. ‫ وكسر في الفخد والرجل‬،‫الحوض‬
‫ ومحتاجة عملية جراحية‬،‫الشمال‬

The third case: Ms. Noha is twenty-four years old.
She has a broken jaw and nose, a cut lip, and a cut
on the left cheek. And, in fact, Noha will need
plastic surgery because all of her injuries are on
the face.

bruises to small cuts.
