At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to :
OBJECTIVE : 1. name at least 3 clothes based on the song correctly.
2. spell at least 4 clothes correctly. Pre-lesson: Pupils do a recap on the different types of clothes using flashcards.
: Lesson delivery: 1. Pupils are introduced to the ‘Clothing Pokie’ song. 2. Teacher sings and demonstrates the song with gestures. ACTIVITIES 3. Pupils are given a set of clothing cut-outs based on the song. 4. Pupils sing the song with gestures and pick the correct clothing cut-out based on the song. 5. Each pupil is given a song template. In their groups, pupils fill in the blanks with other clothings that they can think of.
Post-lesson: Teacher conducts an exit test. (spelling)
