I. BUSINESS OVERVIEW:
Masbate a beautiful island province in the Philippines known for its stunning beaches and
tropical climate. However, at present, Masbate is currently experiencing scorching heat as
summer has fully taken over the province. The summer season can be intense, with the hot
temperatures making it challenging to stay cool and comfortable. Many residents are
experiencing the discomfort of extreme heat, leading to dehydration, fatigue, and heat
exhaustion. With the temperature rising, there's no denying that the province is in the grip of a
scorching heat wave, Masbate locals are looking for ways to beat the heat and satisfy their
summer cravings. Indulging in refreshing and cool treats can be an effective way to beat the heat
and stay healthy during this summer season.
Instead of letting the heat get us down, our group in Entrepreneurship has decided to turn
it into an opportunity to start a business that is perfect for this hot summer.
As the temperature rises and the days get longer, nothing beats a refreshing and delicious
treats to beat the heat and satisfy our summer cravings. Our business specializes in providing
customers with a range of summer treats, including our signature products: coffee jelly, and Oreo
Popsicle.
Our group's main goal is to offer the Masbate National Comprehensive High School
students and teachers with a wide range of delicious and refreshing treats that will help them beat
the summer heat and satisfy their summer cravings. Our goal is not just to provide people with
something cold and refreshing to consume but to create a refreshing and enjoyable experience for
them this summer season. We believe that our treats will not only help them stay hydrated and
cool, but they will also bring a smile to their faces and lift their spirits during this hot weather.
The target market focuses on Masbate National Comprehensive High School students and
teachers. This target market are of any gender aging 10 years old and above who are
experiencing the scorching heat in the city due to the hot weather/summer season. Summer
Cravings will be introduced to the market through the social media, mainly Facebook and
Instagram. We will also introduce our products to our fellow students in person. The products'
prices will range from ₱20.00 - ₱45.00 which varies of our summer delights. We will take great
pride in the quality of our products, ensuring that we use only the freshest and healthiest
ingredients. We will also make sure that our treats are reasonably priced, making them accessible
to everyone in Masbate National Comprehensive High School. In the competitive market,
Summer Cravings is committed to ensuring the effectiveness and success of all its marketing,
operational, financial, and organizational plans. We conducted thorough competitive analysis to
develop strategies that deliver valuable products and benefits to our customers. Our aim is to
generate significant profits from the implementation of these plans and continue providing our
customers with exceptional products and services throughout the entire operation.

Our business will be named SUMMER CRAVINGS. The business name "Summer
Cravings" implies that our business offers a range of products that are perfect for satisfying the
cravings and helping people beat the heat during the summer season, it effectively communicates
our business's goal of providing refreshing and satisfying treats during the summer season. Our
business name and business are timely and relevant to the current season, making it more
attractive to our potential customers who are looking for ways to beat the heat and enjoy the
summer. “Summer Cravings” is a clever and catchy way to market our business that offers
products that are specifically designed for the summer season.

Summer Cravings will be located within Masbate City, specifically Masbate National
Comprehensive High School campus. The business will operate within the City of Masbate and
will be available for the Masbateños within the city and the students of MNCHS.

Here's more! You can avail our free delivery service if you order more than one (1) product/treat
from Summer Cravings, within Masbate City only. Otherwise, payment for single order
deliveries within the city costs ₱ 10.00 or you we can deliver it to you in MNCHS campus for
free. We also offer our summer treats in pairs and we offer freebies if you already ordered twice!

B. Pricing
Summer Cravings’ variety of delicious and refreshing summer treats will have varied
prices. Coffee jelly will be sold at the initial price of ₱20.00, and Oreo Popsicle for ₱25.00.

Summer Cravings will be located within Masbate City, specifically Masbate National
Comprehensive High School campus. The business will operate within the City of Masbate and
will be available for the Masbateños within the city. In order to expand our market presence and
reach out to more potential customers, we will utilize social media platforms such as Facebook
and Instagram to promote our business and summer treats. These platforms offer an excellent
opportunity for us to increase our visibility and attract more customers. By leveraging the power
of social media, we aim to broaden our market reach, attract more potential customers and grow
our business.
D. Packaging
Summer Cravings will use eco-friendly packaging materials that are both visually
appealing and functional instead of plastic, the purpose of this is not only to promote the
business name in the digital market and within the city but also its good and positive advocacy,
which can attract more potential customers and to help preserve the environment. The packaging
will be designed properly to ensure that the treats stay fresh and is easy to carry around. Summer
Cravings will personalize its packaging by including a sticker and card logo that promotes its
brand name and theme. In addition, a 'thank you' card will also be added to express our gratitude
to our customers for supporting our business and buying our summer treats.

ahead. These competitors could either have different or similar business like Summer Cravings.
To remain competitive and overcome any potential threats posed by competitors, Summer
Cravings will continuously strive to innovate and improve its business and product quality. It
will focus on its goal to offer delicious treats that will help its customers beat the summer heat
and satisfy their summer cravings and thrive eventually.

planned operational plan, we can streamline our Summer Cravings business' production and
ensure that our products meet our customers' expectations.
